Ed Tarvyd Memorial Scholarship in Marine Studies

The Ed Tarvyd Memorial Scholarship in Marine Studies supports students who have a minimum GPA of 3, are majoring in Biological Sciences, demonstrate financial need, are enrolled full-time or part-time, have a student status of transfer, and meet the following other criteria: Biological Sciences Major with interest in Marine Biology, Zoology, and Biology with emphasis in evolution. This scholarship is not intended for pre-med student. Students interested in studying Botany, Environmental Biology, and Biology with an emphasis on Ornithology may also be considered. Students should have complete at least three courses in Biological Sciences including Biology 15 and/or Zoology 5, and additional course(s) from the series such as Biology 21, 22, or 23..
